Came for the Swans but was surprised how many Snow Geese and Eagles there were. Lots of water fowl also.

Have visited here twice in the last six months.January and April and both visits were very productive. North of St Joseph, MO. right off I 29. These were from April with lots of migratory birds.

Part of my Louisiana Texas Birding Trip. Marsh is located in a park in the middle of Beaumont.

Sunrises and Sunsets mostly from Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge. There are a few from other locations in Southern Illinois, but not many!

This collection is combined visits to both Wildlife areas I visited in early December 2022.

Accidentally found this 2nd Sandhill Crane opportunity north of Bosque Del Apache on my way to Albuquerque for a another beautiful day of photography.

My 2nd Sandhill Crane trip in Dec 2022 to this Refuge in South Central New Mexico. Wonderful Birding, Scenery, and weather.

My 2nd trip to this Wildlife Refuge in Northern Indiana. Late afternoon and evening first day provided nice silhouettes and "social dancing". Next morning had great light and lots of closeup shots.

These deer encounters were taken from the same place at the Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge from September through December of 2022. Most of all my other photos of deer have been from my vehicle while driving through the Refuge, but these were taken from a trail.

Close encounter with a Coyote in two different directions within 20 minutes. Wilson Snipe shorebird, River Otter coming out of water, and Barred Owl who sat for about 20 minutes. These were photographed from the same place I captured the deer photos. have never had this much luck in all my years of photograpy. These were all taken at Crab Orchard Wildlife Refuge just 20 minutes from my home in Marion, IL.

These are city night/evening photos I have collected over the years that my wife Barbara and I have traveled to in recent years, mostly pre COVID!
